As'kum and hello all...

it has been almost 10 days since i post anything in this forum..
well, maybe i've posted one or two, but heck.. i've been busy to hang out around the net..
hmm.. seemed tthat our last topic mostly some of you guys talked about those IT or ekhem.. ICT stuff which i honestly knew nothing or a little about..

about me, i've registered for another semester in UiTM recently and i'm officially a third-year..!
i have about less than a week left at NTV7..
2 months are so little time, i've learnt nothing much yet..!
for those of you who adore Sarimah, i'm getting sick of seeing her 2 or 3 times a week, as i'm handling the kids@7 show..
believe me, she's nothing to shout about..
always late and her blabbering is soooo annoying..
me and the cew there secretly call her 'mak bedah'..
ehehe...

actually i've been having some problems with my fellow interns since the first i started to work there..
basically, those kids, yes, let me say that again, KIDS (as they are 3-4 years younger than me), couldn't seperate between personalism (AS IF there 's word for this) and professionalism..
basicaly, nobody's perfect..
we are in the process of learning, and everybody makes mistakes..
but the problem is, these kids could not or cannot accept people who make mistakes...
like me for instance..

and sometimes, because of this so-called inner-conflict, i've always been left out (kena pulau la), although i have confronted them and asked them what the heck was wrong, but they denied everything..
duh..!
kids..!

well, i've been patient and i plan to show them one day, who's going to graduate first class honors...

well, that's what i call pengalaman, experience..

but most exciting thing i anticipated the whole week, but eventually dissapointing me in the end is, well, Star Wars...
i am a big fan, no.. huuuge fan of star wars..
but the latest prequel upsets me...
i can't believe it..
i even played hooky to go and watch the movie.. and there goes my ten bucks..

well, i had a looong week..

Actually the "romance" scenes were the worst parts of the movie. However, the action was great... Obi is cool, but Yoda... he's the ultimate Jedi Master :D Watch it and you'll find out why.

Just came back from Terengganu. Had a good holiday in Kapas Island.Snorkling all day. Tired. Return to KL with fever and cough. Doctor gave me extra 2 days of MC to rest....

don't get me wrong, but is it worth it to watch malay movie at the theatre?

i won't pay to watch a malay movie, unless somebody pay ME to watch it, and it is a really good movie, which is rare..


btw, today is my last day of internship..
the classes have started, but i'm giving myself a personal holiday about a week, then only i go to class..
i'm not afford to go on holiday in terengganu, but i could go as far as kompleks pkns shah alam with my current budget.. (loan tak masuk lagi la..)...

I don't know. I used to watched Awas and Perempuan Melayu Terakhir in cinema (but a cheap cinema, the ticket was about RM3, Odeon la mana lagi).

Sometimes I think, why should we watch foreign movies and make them richer when we can buy the vcd so cheap in night market. Shouldn't we support local movies? But then again, sometimes I wonder should I pay RM 10 tu watch local movie with the same scenario, love...so slapstick. But, I want to watch Mr Cinderella in cinema. Sounds like something different. But I was satisfied paying RM 6 watching Soal Siapa. That's a worth movie to watch in cinema.

Support local movie industry or pay what's worth our money for?

After I watched it in TGV, they sell the vcd in KFC, so I bought one for me to watch at home when I am bored. I heard the next film gonna come out by both of them, something like it continues from the first film. it will be called Soal Siapa. Aiyaaa...I got confused between Soal Siapa dan Soal Hati. The first movie was Soal Hati and now they are coming out with the new one called Soal Siapa. No wonder Belatuk was so confused....sorry for that....:malunaga:

Support our local movies... I'd like to... but... most local movies...just...aren't any fun. Neither are they intelectually stimulating either. Neither are they visually spectacular. So... what's the point?

do you remember a series called UKKL? this is supposed to be our local version of ER....i was 'dying' of laughter....imagine accident victims being brought in for immediate treatment....the doctors in the trauma div. were too slow to act....the victims are dying and the doctors can afford to be slow....Give me Chicago Hope or ER anytime.....

as for being intellectually stimulating, they are actually insulting our intelligence....local movies are really very predictable....except maybe for those by the late Tan Sri P. Ramlee....what do you think?

as for Attack Of The Clones, this is part two of the second trilogy....of cos it has an inconclulsive ending....it is supposed to be like that....you have to wait for pt 3 to come out, then you can see what happens to the characters....

Maybe I won't watch Gerak Khas II because till now I never had the chance to watch the first movie. Anyway, I am looking forward for Mr Cinderella, it sounds good especially Yusry KRU and Erra acted in the movie. hmmm...so what am I going to watch this Monday?? There's a movie about a house with so a special room acted by ummm....I can't remember her name but she's a well-known actress. Or maybe I should watched Peter Pan, coming back to Never2land....that's good. I love cartoons. Hmm... that's what they said last time. Maybe critics were expecting too much. But as the late Isaac Asimov said, "in order to enjoy Star Wars, just leave your sophistication at the door and go for a fun ride".

Today, my friend and I went to TGV KLCC and looking for a good movie to watch. Earlier, both of us agree to give a try on GKTM 2 but then, by the time we reached the counter it is already limited, front seats only available. I hate front seats, it makes my neck painful. So, we bought 2 tickets on Panic Room. It was cool, only 5 characters and location only focused in a house but the way the director of the film makes it suspens and fun to watch. Most of the people who were in the cinema watching it screams a little as if they are the one in the film....a good movie to watch...

Peter Pan, I love the cartoon. Should watch it the next time I go to KLCC...err..which will be in 2 months in time. Maybe I should just get the vcd coz by that time Peter Pan won't be in cinema anymore....

oh yes...World Cup fever. My dad paste the schedule near our TV set so that we won't miss any game. Lucky him, he's already retired so he won't miss any match but my mom....berleter panjang because when thematch starts at 4.30pm, he won't go for jemaah pray at mosque. if the team is not he's favourite he will go to mosque or my mom will berleter non stop....:D

Looking forward for Brazil vs Turkey today. Can't believe Germany beated Arab Saudi 8-0.....what a big shame for Arabs....:D

actually. i know this is nuts but i'm dying to get rid of this feeling. i feel so uncomfortable speaking english in front of other people. . and this is bad as i am now studying mass communication where public speaking is my middle name . frankly speaking i think my english is good i write well, i speak well but i don't have the nerve to speak it in public. i'm dying to excel in it. (one of the reason i took the course) i'm really frustrated when i have to make a presentation in front of the class. and although the audience is still the same from the last two years (the class), i still get the jitters. it does not help either when my classmates have such short attention span. every public speaking makes me feel frail and useless and in the end i feel emotionally drained. i tend to worry a lot when they began ignoring mehalfway through the presentation. and i feel preocccupied with it that i ruin my presentation. i wish i'd learn to ignore them and i think i need to rehearse more.

but another problem, i am really "darah gemuruh" snd my friend once said that," tere english tapi gabra depan orang tak guna juga."

anyone out there who can help me. how do you get to be so calm in front of the mass audience????

all i can say about this year world cup is full
of surprises.....at the beginning we already
saw how the latest champ' been beaten by
the new comer....that was not supposed to be, actually....

but the 1st game really pressure all teams,
especially the favourites.
we shouldnt underestimate the 'under-dog' team..
they are most dangerous........

we'll see the next 2 games for each teams
before they start the 2nd round...
30th june will be just in front of our eyes....

hello i am a masscomm student. i have a project in which i have to produce programmes like documentaries, short films and such. i have to do a five minute video clip where we can invite aristes to star in it. anybody have an idea to suggest. i also wanna ask if anybody knows any artistes who could volunteer to star in our production. hopefully it is someone whose schedule is flexible. one thing is that, we are not offering any payment because it is only for a class project not for commercial purposes.

anyway if any of you out there who knows anyone who can or know someone who knows another or have information please inform me. thanks a lot.

Brazul vs Turkey must be the best game ever played in World Cup 2002 so far. I really salute Turkey's goal keeper. Excellent and calm. Anyway, Brazil defeated Turkey 2-1....as for me, I think either Brazil, Italy or Senegal will win 2002 Cup.....Senegal?? I hope so after watching them beaten France......:D

spellbinded: If I were you, I won't waste my time looking for actor or actress for my project. Why don't u interview other people like sport stars, professionals like doctors, surgeons, Go Cart driver....since it's a documentary, it can be anyone not only artist, isn't it?

i don't like the way the brazilians are playing.. yes.. i agree they are very good players.. but they are just lacking in team spirit.. that's why they only managed to beat turkey with a 2-1 score.. and one of the goals was through a penalty.. duh! what a shame to win a match like that.. especially when there are so many stars in the team (and some very good actors as well).. i hope somebody will beat them.. maybe then they will start playing real football..
