hii....saya nak tanya ..sql utk buat katakan.. peminjam tidak pulangkan notebook pada tarikh yg ditetapkan... so automatik nama peminjam tu menjadi black liist dalam senarai pinjaman..
cam ner tu..ntah ler korang paham ke tak ni....ada table
PINJAM(id_staff,nama,jabatan,model,jenis,nama_item,t_hantar,t_pinjam,tempat ,tujuan)
PEMINJAM(staff_id,nama,jabatan,tel_nombor,status)
STATUS(nama_item,status)
COMPUTER(kod_harta,nama_item,jenis,model,)

first of all.. i think u need to normalize your database structure... if i were to do it.. my tables will look like this:

PINJAMAN(id_staff,id_item,t_pinjam,t_pulang,t_akhir_pulang,tempat,tujuan)
PEMINJAM(staff_id,nama,jabatan,tel_nombor,status)
COMPUTER(id_item,kod_harta,nama_item,jenis,model,status)


secondly.. there is no way we can update a record automatically.. unless we resort to using such things as agents etc.. alternatively.. we can always mark a record (in this case the overdue record) with a special indicator in our user interface... for example.. the row of the overdue record can be set to have a red background color when user view the records for borrowals..
